March 23, 2013: Year-End Foam Party!

Well, school's out in about a month. So, the wonderful organization of the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants have organized a foam party to end the year right, and start the summer with a BANG!

I'm getting this out now because next week is Holy Week and right after that is the beginning of Hell Week. Oh look at that... play with words.

It's my first time going to a foam party and... what exactly do you wear to these things? I know it's supposed to be something that can get wet but shoes? SHOES? I sound like a girl, not surprised though. ^o^

Shorts, Shirt ans Sneakers. Yeap, I think I'll just stick with that... Should I just take something from my closet or check out the mall? Decisions, decisions.

To shop or not,

If someone does manage to bring a camera, I shall follow up with pictures.

February 19, 2013: Oh look, Pottermore.

I finally... finally!... signed up for Pottermore.

Look me up! I got into Ravenclaw. I got as far as Chapter 13 before I caved and started on my potions.

I mean, I would really really want to attend Snape's potions class. I liked my chemistry classes back in high school and I had an awesome time. I can just never be bothered with chemicals themselves so I ended up taking a business course instead.

So, right now... in this moment, I am brewing my first potion called Wideye or Awakening Potion. I'm trying to earn house points here! Gotta do my house some good.

I am off to do more adventurous exploration in Hogwarts! Plus, my potion's just about done.

Oodles of Toodles!

January 21, 2013: Creating Them Rabbit Apples

Since I am starting this year healthy, here's a fun (and healthy) way of eating your apple. As they say, an apple a day keeps the doctor away!

Long time ago, I was a big big fan of anime and manga. I like to think that I've outgrown them but seriously, I haven't done so fully. Thus, the search for the cute ways to make things (especially food). Most would find these in bento boxes, and surely enough they're not that hard to make... Just a little imagination is all you need.

Introducing... the Rabbit Apple.

This has got to be the easiest. Simply slice an apple lengthwise, usually you end up with around eight slices. Then, make an indent the shape of a "V". Peel of the skin 'til you reach the "head" of your "rabbit". Now, you can pull out that "V" and you see the rabbit! Pat yourself behind your back 'cause the worst is finally over!

Shock this with cold water to maintain the height of the ears and carve out the remaining features. If you're not gonna eat this immediately, take a citrus fruit (like calamansi, lemons or oranges) and squeeze some of it to the exposed flesh so that the apple retains it's colors.

And, there you have it! 'Til I find something worthy to post again.
