Well, school's out in about a month. So, the wonderful organization of the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants have organized a foam party to end the year right, and start the summer with a BANG!
I'm getting this out now because next week is Holy Week and right after that is the beginning of Hell Week. Oh look at that... play with words.
It's my first time going to a foam party and... what exactly do you wear to these things? I know it's supposed to be something that can get wet but shoes? SHOES? I sound like a girl, not surprised though. ^o^
Shorts, Shirt ans Sneakers. Yeap, I think I'll just stick with that... Should I just take something from my closet or check out the mall? Decisions, decisions.
To shop or not,
AnaRay
If someone does manage to bring a camera, I shall follow up with pictures.

July Project: 31-Day Drawing Challenge - Day Ten
I admit that I do love school... to the point that I really really really want to work there.
I'm still studying in college so for now, the possibilities are... well, possible. But, as I keep on going forward with my accounting studies, I don't think I'll immediately turn out to be a professor for it. I may take on the practice first then go on from there... that is, if I graduate with my current Majors.
I really have to skedaddle because of my finals. So, here's my quick contribution for today!
Peace and love,
AnaRay

Saturday
i know for a fact, that this post is of nothing important.
it's because i'm going on a semi-hiatus status
(my friend already went on hiatus earlier this term),
my majors are kicking my ass. so, this is the last post for now.
still on season 2!
the two that i usually wait for.
My life has been nothing but accounting since I think I didn't fair well for the first half. So, when people see me I'm usually doing my homework, reading a textbook or watching American Idol, How I Met Your Mother (just finished season 1, already on season 2), New Girl or America's Next Top Model: British Invasion.
just because the show makes me smile
It's the second half of the term, so it's going to be another 7-week roller coaster. As for academics, I'm doing well for the second half (according to my quizzes). As for social life, it has plummeted. I still have lunch with my friends in their condo but other than that, I have seen less and less of my highschool friends. I still go out, meaning I go to malls. I recently ate at Bulgogi Brothers, Banapple and Wee Nam Kee.
finally getting to eat there
i am aware that i look a bit wasted. lol.
Oh, we'll be having a plant visit very soon (March 21) and I hope to be able to post that. Because, it's during that trip do I want to try Hapadog and Gong Cha.
Pray that I do well for my studies, I really am struggling.
See you all very soon, hopefully...
Got away from homeworks for a little bit.

i promise to post on important dates, when i have time.

Supposedly, I was gonna stay at my friend's condo.
But, I'm still a tad unstable and I need all my energy for Valentine's day.
No, I've got no date but I am happy to say that today is the last day of quizzes, which means in three days' time. It's exam time. This is what makes the La Salle terms a hassle. Though the school has the reputation of passing all the graduates through the board exam, getting to graduate with a degree on accountancy is one of the hardest part. Still willing to take the challenges though.
I keep on writing my posts, but I never get around to taking a picture for it. I guess, that's why they're late.
Love. Peace. Joy.
AnaRay
no... i am not excited to see the turnout of my grades.

Last FIVE Days RECAP. (February 8-12, 2012)
For the past five days, I've been feeling incredibly sick.
But, a lot of things have happened even though I was sick. I still came into class and took the quizzes that I'm not even sure if my mind had comprehended what was on the paper. Needless to say, those were not my top quizzes.
So here's a recap of the last five days. Of course, with their pictures.
FEBRUARY 8, 2012
After our class in cost accounting, we (me, Jeth, Arvie, Lea and Winnona) headed back to Winnona's house via LRT. I am not accustomed to riding trains so I was really surprised to see it very cramped. Even though we were in the ladies' cart, I was still very mindful of my surroundings. We had lunch of Dinuguan and rice, and dessert of ripe mangoes and watermelon. Also, the reconstruction of the puzzle letter was completed and Winnona finally was able to read the message after two years.
Then, we rode back via train back to LaSalle to attend the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA) General Assembly. I must say that we had a really fun time. Most of the Block One (ID110) was there. Some even participated in the JPIA Artists's Guild (JAG). We tried to win the Human Bingo, The Boat is Sinking (which was unfair because they chose the people who were wearing shorts, last I checked that's not how you play the game), then the last game of Pera o Bayong. The last game was mostly played by Block One, glad to be part of that class. And I was the last contestant standing. In the end, I won ONE THOUSAND PESOS bu the grand prize was three thousand.
This is beginning to be a long day, because at nighttime was my mother's birthday celebration. It was celebrated at the restaurant nearby called, Sis at the Seaside.
FEBRUARY 9, 2012
I began not feeling well yesterday but it got awfully worse today. We had a quiz and a report due. I could be barely speak without my voice cracking. My exam that day was surely gonna be one of my lowest since I was not able to finish the quiz.
FEBRUARY 10, 2012
It's getting better today. I was able to take my quiz a lot better than the day before but still not very confident. I began tearing up due to exhaustion when lunchtime came. But, I'd like to sneak in a thank you to Lea for the free lunch, an advanced happy birthday celebration. Three cups of tea in the morning, and three cups of tea at night. A lesson I learned from Mulan.
FEBRUARY 11, 2012
I'm feeling good. I woke up at 4am to get ready for class since it was yet another quiz day. Yes, I am aware that it is a Saturday. This quiz was much easier for me and I was able to finish it. Today is Lea's real birthday so when she entered the classroom our whole class containing twenty one students, burst into song. Then, asked for our professor for plus points, just as a joke though. Before going home, Lea treated us again with Starbucks. When I came back home, I felt awfully tired and my parents with my brother left for QC. I was told to sleep and I did right after I ate lunch. I slept from 1pm 'til 8pm. I woke to a large serving of Serenitea and dinner.
FEBRUARY 12, 2012
I'm good now. And, studying again for the umpteenth time because I did none yesterday. I just learned that Wong Fu will be coming to Manila. I must see them... but I might be so busy due to my majors this term. But, when will they ever visit again? Ahhh, decisions... decisions. Wong Fu For Life!
Well, I said I was never going to do this again. But, I just don't have the time to give each day a post of its own.
Still sniffling,

I usually do not do homeworks on Saturdays but... I have to catch up.
And, I skipped out on my guitar class, which was sad because I really wanted to go.
SIX HOURS... of understanding one subject. It is so sad. I feel like I don't even have a life anymore.
Get me out of this house!

yes, i need to go out.

It's the first day of the month of the hearts!
So, you've got thirteen days left if you wanna have a Valentine this year. I... am not planning to have one. Girls like me, who are a bit immature about these things, are gonna stay single. Unless, we start to grow up. I hope to grow up and be "mature" enough for that kind of relationship.
Basically, today I've finished draft of the cover of my MODFIN2 notebook. It isn't as flashy as my MODFIN1 but I thought that it still looks pretty cool. I'm planning on using actual black paint for extra effect, but I'm afraid that too much water might not be suitable for the cardboard paper.
Because of my insanity to be lazy, I now have an even bigger pile that is apparently due tomorrow. God, I can be so clueless. I even spent my afternoon playing this game called, Stray Souls: Dollhouse Story. Fair warning: I am terrified of dolls that look like people, hence, Chucky or Chuckie the cursed doll is the most horrifying movie in history.
Nerd mode for the thousandth time,
AnaRay
oh look, there are five ways to depreciate a building... greaaaat. not.

Apparently, something else is to be celebrated during Valentine's.
Every year in LaSalle, friends would ask each other, "Anong leap mo?", "What's your leap?"
So, what is this thing the LaSallians call... "LEAP"? The LEAP (aka LaSallian Enrichment Alternative Program) is almost like a "free" day but you have to take a class on something other than what is taught in class. Some choices are Foreign Languages Class, Sports like Rock Climbing, Cultural like Dance and Movies, and other fun stuff like that. Last year, I got the class that I wanted which was the Spanish class entitled, Olah! 101. I learned a lot but not a lot stuck by me.
The only word that really stuck was mierda, look it up on Google Translate. It might be the most important and useful Spanish word you'll ever know.
This year, I am fortunate to have been able to enroll in Ice Skating, I think. I haven't seen my profile in our university site. But, nevertheless, I am ecstatic because it's been a while since I've skated. Plus, I get to spend it with my friends that I rarely see, though it is my fault for having such a busy schedule. Thank you Jethro for your speedy iPhone.
I originally planned to do something like baking desserts or learning a new language. But, ice skating's good.
Today, I got the worst exam results of my entire life. I really just want to burn it. But, I also got my (so far) highest grade in our majors.
I still got that pile of homework staring at me.
Imma be like the wind and, whoosh!
AnaRay
please please please let the never ending mountain of homework go AWAY!
disclaimer: images do not belong to me. i've been shitty with the pictures and it's my fault. sorry!

It's the second blogpost submitted today to make up for my loss yesterday.
When doing something as stressful as pulling an almost all nighter. I think it's just right to give yourself a pat on the back for actually pulling through and being able to make it the most of what it was. So here's Yan Yan. I love these biscuits that you dip in chocolate ever since I was a kid. And, I feel less stressed actually being able to eat it once again.
Today has been a good day I must say. I have not been called to answer a hard recitation. I scored a decent enough amount on my first quiz. And, I was able to answer my third quiz today. But, this is all thanks to the lovely ladies who help me study. There are times they read my blog so special mention to my study buddies Arvie, Jeth, Lea, and Winnona. Thank you so much for keeping me focused. Also, thank you for not telling me to shut up when we started to sing songs from Katy Perry to Adele and to Disney Princesses' songs.
I'm declaring today as the day I have to finish up everything else without having to get too worked up. As I said, I'm gonna take it easy today.
Wearing a face mask,

it's a good day, not the best but good.

'Tis a very late post.
We had three hours worth of cost accounting and no, it's not fun. It's like putting your brain in a blender or have it stir fried.
I was busy harvesting my dark circles for a quiz tomorrow (which I can say is today, but I'm posting this as yesterday... does it even make sense?). See, cost accounting should be easier than the others since it's simply computing how much an item (say a shirt or an iPhone) would cost to make. For example, I sell calamansi juice and I'll need calamansi, water, sugar and ice costing Php5 a piece, Php25 a gallon, Php50 a pack, and Php 10 a pack. Obviously, it should be easy 'cause I'll just add all of them. But apparently, it's not that easy.
So, I've been slaving away trying to finish everything by giving each an hour's worth of study time. But still, 12am came and it turned to 1am then finally 2am 'til I fell asleep.
Officially an insomniac,
AnaRay
is there a treatment to instantly remove eye bags/ dark circles?

I'm still not used to it!
See that, I don't even recognize half of what I wrote. Then, we had this class where I was screaming "WTF?!" in my mind. Right after, I solved it on my own and it was so freaking easy. EASY I TELL YOU! My gulay, I think the professors are confusing us on purpose. It's a conspiracy to get us all to fail. Scandal! Or maybe it's because I write on my doodles.
Of course, I'm kidding about them making us fail in purpose but still... I feel high just looking at my notes.
You guys know that bread (focaccia?) and sauce or dip whatever it's called (the balsamic vinegar and olive oil thing) from Italianni's? I had it for merienda earlier this afternoon with pancit canton. Thank you so much Jethro for letting me hang out at your place... and the food. Hehehe, it's so delicioso. I shall be visiting this condo very much... because we have the same classes... and food. FOOD! I had ChaTime and they have red beans, RED BEANS! Reading back I've noticed I sound repetitive.
You know what I hate about living in the South? The traffic we have to go through just to get home. It takes way too long and the Skyway is just way too expensive to take everyday going to and from the Metro. Fifteen minutes into the car ride and I shut down and fall asleep. Next thing I know, I'm home. The trip takes two hours people!
Why did I take accounting as a course? I remember, it's because I'm a psychotic (not really) masochistic (err, maybe?) workaholic who likes to procrastinate. Well, the last five words are true though they may seem a tad contradicting.
Gyaaah, we have homework!

First day of the modular program...
I still am in shock that I'm attending my majors, it took me five terms to get here and I'm hoping not to repeat anymore. So, I'm being extra diligent and I know, for a fact, that I'm writing a bit slower than usual just so I could understand what I'm writing down. I really do hope that I get this thing right.
Since there were so many of us with the same lunch breaks, we ate at Manang's. We had to steal around five tables and, I believe, twelve chairs. I was so happy to see so many of us again, I had to take a couple of pictures. Some they don't know.
In my last class (cost accounting), I shifted my section to the later one because if some of us didn't, it would be considered as a dissolved section. Anyway, I think I'll be needing the three hour break to squeeze in both the homework and lunch. Plus, my ride gets at school at around six in the evening so enough time to study.
Look, I got my books and I'm still missing two(?) of them! I did not want to wait for four hours just to get a ride with my dad so I took the bus home with all of these. Thank God, the conductor was nice and he brought it up for me, there was a seat in front, and it only took an hour to get home.
I have got to go back to studying. I thought I wouldn't be having that many assignments since it was the first day. I was so wrong. Sigh...
Taking it seriously,
AnaRay
way too into the assignment, i forgot to tell my brother to put three cups of rice grains in the rice cooker.

Might be my last Starbucks for the term
They finally got it right!
Tomorrow is my official first day of classes. From eight in the morning 'til two-thirty in the afternoon, I will be studying about finance accounting, finance accounting, lunch, and cost accounting (yes, in that order). So today, I had to pay for my books which reached a whooping six thousand one hundred fifty pesos (Php 6,150). That totals the ten books I need for the whole term, compared to last term's two books.
Truth is, I'm very excited to go to class and learn. The assignments I don't mind so much, unless they are super long. And, my friends tell me that they are IN FACT going to be super long. Hopefully, my calculator does not run out of juice, like that time I took my finals... and the qualifying exam.
Look what I got! Well, what my name "says about me",
And, big thanks to Zig and Louie for letting me go with them to Starbucks. It might be a while 'til I get to taste a Strawberry Belgian Waffle again.
Will start studying seriously when I get my books,
AnaRay

for some reason, I found this really funny.
Will start studying seriously when I get my books,
AnaRay
To the guy who sat beside me in the bus,
We were wearing matching colors, I just thought it was cute. I wanted to
take a picture so, I waited for you to fall asleep but, you didn't. (-///-)

It's been such a long day.
Stressful. Challenging. Fun. All mixed into one day and I couldn't expect it to be any way else. Today was the day I've been preparing for since Friday. Today was the day I took my first (and hopefully, last) take of the qualifying exam. I'm gonna be totally honest and say, it was just another exam. The thing is, it's the exam that would be say whether I make it or break it into my degree.
Of course, I have no photos of the time I was taking it. I was too shy to ask the proctor lady to take pictures. I'm not going to say I'm confident as well because, I'm not. I'm hoping but not too sure what the outcome will be. So, for the whole day I've done nothing but avoid the subject that is my exam.
I've played Little Big Planet again. Re-made Bubz's Butterfly Braid. Gotten out to eat at Krispy Kreme and buy my exchange gift. Watched WongFu. And, sleep.
Just wants to sleep,
AnaRay
excited for tomorrow though i have no white shirt

It's the 111th post. Just thought it'd be fitting for the 2011 year.
Moving on, meet my new stuffed friend.
This little blue monkey was given to me by my little brother (Awww, sweet.). He actually won this from a carnival game in Enchanted Kingdom yesterday. He just came in before lunch with the monkey at hand and he was like, "Gusto mo?". I was studying my a$$ off for my exam tomorrow and the gesture just made me smile, and less stressed.
And, I took it because I thought it would add character to my already sort of messed up room. I don't think that it's messy just that there are a lot of knick knacks around, and I could never have the heart to throw any of them away. Hoarder much?
Besides acquiring this monkey, my mother gave me a green parol to offer in Mass. I don't have a picture because I never bring anything when I'm in church unless we're going out after. I really wish that I could just fast forward everything.
Seeing stars,

no more... please no more!

I was dumb enough to forget my camera.
Almost the whole day we've done nothing but study about accounting. We being me, Jeth, Zig and Sam, who was a surprise because I did not expect him to be there. I mean, yeah I know he lives in the South but SURPRISE! Anyway, I forgot to take a picture of my second Tazo tea (insert sad face), I got the Giant Peach one which tasted like the one we have here at home.
After exhausting all of my brain juices (in Filipino terminology, sabaw na), me and Jeth went to Town then to Soderno to eat. The boys left early 'cause one had to go to a Christmas party and the other to attend Mass. So, only the two of us were left. But, lo and behold, there was Lechon Cebu at Soderno and we just couldn't pass it up.
That drink right there should prove that I went to Soderno. It is a juice drink which tastes a lot like strawberry candy, a bit sweet but good enough. Not amazing but better than the others that were there. And, my mom and I swung by McDonald's to fetch my brother.
Should sleep now,
AnaRay
i'm going to attend the Simbang Gabi tomorrow. confusing really 'cause it's at four in the morning.

They left mee....
Well, I'm not exactly allowed to go because I still have one exam left. The one exam that will determine whether or not I'm staying with my undergraduate degree.
Today was really fun. I was able to be with my college friend, Mel, in the morning before they left for Fontana or something. Basically, we headed off to everywhere around Taft because she hadn't prepared anything for their trip. Harrison, Laybare and a quick fix in Starbucks were the places we went to before we settled back in her condo. She was packing up to the very last minute where we (add in Louie and Gab) had to wait for her 'cause I was treating them for lunch right before they left. AJ was lucky enough to catch me before I left.
I'm leaving it there. 'Cause as happy as I am passing, now I have to pass another exam in two days.
I don't know why I keep stressing myself out.
I like my new bottle.
AnaRay
my tea apparently had hibiscus and rose petals in it. WTF?

Tomorrow's going to be the last day of my exams.
Since I absolutely need a grade of at least seventy-five, I had a study session with Jeth here at Starbucks Molito. Other than exhausting all of my brain juices, I'm happy to have spent my cash on a Iced Chai Tea, Mocha Belgian Waffle and Cinnamon Swirl. With Jeth having so many old quizzes (OT) with her, I absolutely feel like my mind is not up for more accounting.
We spent around five hours on accounting. We wanted to stretch our backs and have our legs moving again and so we landed on Alabang Town Center (ATC), just across the street. Supposedly, we were going to get salty food but we saw the New Wing and went on discovering the upcoming stores. Only a few have opened but the place is huge...
I am very excited for those that have pictures up here. Some of the stores haven't posted where they will be opening so keep in touch with ATC, if you're living in the South.
Must study terminologies,
AnaRay
accounting is not about math. it's more on english.
