June Project: Photo a Day Challenge - Week Four

I had momentarily stopped blogging pictures to give way to my friend's birthday, but here I am again,

Look around... maybe you'll like them.. ^_^

June 22 - From A High Angle

C2 Solo, "i just wanna grow taller".

Since I am incredibly short at 5", the only way to take a picture from a high angle is, either from the top of a building... or place the item on the floor.

June 23 - Movement

Chip, dip, munch... what other "movement" would you need? LOL.

Back to Chili's! My friends were loitering around the mall somewhere while I was eating.

June 24 - On Your Mind

Seriously been thinking if I should buy the third one...

But, I'll only be able to read it once my school term is over... life... college life.

June 25 - Something Cute

Barbie on mini choco sticks!

Yes! A day early... but seriously, too cute not to post right now. Got it from a niece's christening.

June 26 - Where You Shop

June 24, 2012: Downloading with Torrent

Happy day everyone! If you're here... please help!

BitTorrent is making me feel dumb.

I may know my way around all the MS Office but I have ZERO experience with using torrents... if that's what it's even called. I always had my brother do these stuffs for me because I feel that I'm such a noob for not knowing. But this is the fastest way to download the Korra Season Finale, so I'm trying it right now.

I don't understand anything that's going on with it right now, other than it seems to be working. This sucks... I mean the ETA and Playback thing-y isn't even giving me the same time. ETA says it'll take nine hours while Playback shows something about 1-2 hours. I feel dumb...

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OTHER DUMB HAPPENINGS WITH THE COMPUTER:
I did not know how to change my profile pic in Facebook 'til about three months.

When I learned how to tag on Facebook, I tagged everyone.

I did not know how to open the Downloads page in Chrome when I accidentally hit the Ctrl+J. (I was typing up my post, I needed it to be justified)

When I stumble upon Mediafire or the likes, I usually look at it and... WTF?

I still do not know how to tag people on FB posts when I'm in mobile mode.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now, I feel like I'm totally useless with computer. I just thank God that I did not sign up for that one ComSci in UP Manila. I'm trying to wait out what I'm downloading but it looks like it's gonna take forever...

So, I'm leaving you guys with this post of total awkwardness with computers.

Tata for now!

PS I'll update my "Photo a Day Challenge" much later in the afternoon.

June 22, 2012: HBD Post to Melissa

Oh my effin' god, it's the 22nd of June...

~Jeth, Mel, and Me~

Congratulations Melissa, you have officially turned 19... which sucks, 'cause then it's your last year of being a teenager. And, OMFG... you're old. I know you've been so busy that I rarely even see you especially since this second part of the majors.

I must see you soon for there is a present waiting for you somewhere hidden in my bookshelf and I can't seem to find it. HOWEVER, I shall be stalking your classroom on Monday so that I may give it to you. I don't know if you'll like it but still, I will give it because it already has your name on it, and therefore it is yours. If you are not in your classroom, I just might go to your condo and knock 'til my knuckles hurt! IF you're still not there, I will find a way...

I miss you, and I'm sorry that I'm not smart enough to catch you guys in our studies.

But then again, it's your special day and I'm wondering if you'll actually get to read this. Considering that everyone already flooded your Facebook with the "Happy Birthday" comments. But if you don't get to r ead this... I... will... be... sad. And, a total waste of all the thirty minutes I spent on this.

Even though this is a very long way to greet you, I have yet to say it so...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEL!!
I want you to know that I love you like a sister. I wish you all the best and that your studies would totally turn out awesome. And, I cannot imagine my college life without you with the laughs, the dramas, the "sabaw" moments, your cooking and the sleepovers I had. I'm sorry for the annoyingly long post, but it's hard for me to summarize something like this.

Lovelots,
AnaRay

P.S. You have not yet returned my Bible and I need it... like really bad.

June Project: Photo a Day Challenge - Week Three

June 15 - Time

not only does it tell time, the watch also withstands the test of time...

Sorry for the mix up, but this is should have been for the 14th still... Here's "Time". This watch is actually my mother's, she gave it to me around the time when I entered college...

June 16 - Out and About

I have successfully visited the Chili's in ATC.

Since it was the first time I got there, I ordered the Molten Chocolate Cake and nothin' else. It was only supposed to be some kind of midnight snack thing, we also had unlimited chips and salsa.

June 17 - In Your Bag

Schoolbag contents.

June 18 - Something We Don't Know About You

Current addiction.

When I started watching my friends play games like these, I never thought that I'd be addicted as well. And now that I've exchanged my phone for the Sony Ericsson Xperia, it's the first thing I downloaded and it's been the past tume we have when we're not in class. Typical ner, right? Oh and no, Ihaven't looked up the logos I don't know.

June 19 - Imperfect

See that Rabbit Apple?

June 20 - Fave Photo You've Ever Taken

It's nothing special really...

But, every time I see this picture I just wanna buy a dozen and down all of them in one go. It's just that the plastic wrapping worked well with me, and the the sprinkle of sugars totally sparkled and... yea, it's a pretty awesome picture.

June 21 - Where You Slept

Nine days are left for this challenge...

Lots of catching up to do...

June 9 - Your View Today

Hello everyone! Welcome to my happy place. ^_^

Not exactly going with the "theme" but this has got to be the best view aside from my bedroom.

June 10 - Best Bit of Your Weekend

"I was so worried..."

Yes, I ship Makorra. Oh God, this really is the best bit of my weekend.

June 11 - Door

Every time I leave, it's a whole new adventure
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"I'm late. I'm late." Says the rabbit from Wonderland...

And, I know that I to am late with the photos, so here we go!

June 12 - From A Low Angle

Exercising with the morning sun.

 June 13 - Art

How much can a heart take?

The drawing is my own and it's not finished, or cleaned up since it has been sitting on the shelf for a day or two because of... quizzes. Poor excuse, I know so now, I can't get back the "feeling" when I was drawing this.

June 14 - Yellow

Rub a dub dub, little ducky in a... ???

Simply relying on yellow, might be painful for your eyes so I though of bringing this out with the happiness of colors!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And that about wraps up the second wee of June, huh... Time seems to be slowing down and speeding up.

'Til the next post!
AnaRay

i'll be... the greatest fan of your life..

June Project: Photo a Day Challenge - Week One

Originally my blog was supposed to be a photoblog, but then I can't seem to shut myself up even with posts. Then, I saw this post from my friend, Lea and I thought why not, it'll be fun. I may not be using a high tech SLR or an iPhone but a Sony DigiCam is all I've got. And, I gotta deal with it!

This challenge was originally from Chantelle. I don't know her personally but her page looks amazing.

June 1 - Morning

I rise up earlier than the morning sun.

June 2 - Empty

Emptied chocolate jars are the saddest.

June 3 - On Your Plate

Yum yum, Japanese food. So healthy and delicious.

June 4 - Close Up

How close are you with art?

June 5 - Sign

This sums up my lunch... literally.
Edited with effects at Pixlr.

June 6 - Hat

 Vintage... Bear is vintage

June 7 - Drink

Yakult Green Tea, anyone?*

And, this ends the first week of the photo a day challenge.

*How to make Yakult Green Tea? It's easy... for a small serving (like mine):

  1. Have the green tea set in a glass of water (with the water being less than half of the amount of Yakult that you'll be using, or... you could experiment). This will probably take 2-3 minutes so you get a strong flavor of the tea. Side note: You could also use Ceylon tea for this...
  2. Mix in the Yakult... and you're done! TA-DAH!!!
    • If you want it sweeter (though I think it's already so sweet), you could add in honey to the mix.
    • If you have loose tea, they'll taste better (and take a longer time to prepare) but for a quick pick-me-up, you could follow this.
Milk Teas, Yakult Teas... Whatever they mix with teas these days, just amps up the popularity of tea. I've been a big fan with steaming hot tea, so when I tried the popular milk teas that popped up everywhere... I was hooked. But, what got me most was when Yakult got mixed in to the concoction. Now, that made me smile. Like... thiss.... ^____^

PS I suggest you only drink this once a day 'cause well... in that little bottle of Yakult and the extracted tea, you get all the benefits enough for the whole day! In conclusion, drinking more just equals one less Yakult for the week. Or have some Green Milk Tea?

That's to the end of the week,
AnaRay

yes, i have a slight addiction to tea...

May 25-27, 2012: LK Summer Trip

It took us around six hours to finally get to our destination that is... All Seasons Resort in Morong, Bataan. Six hours because of waiting for each other, stopovers and some detours. And that meant, Carl had to drive at night.

The 3D2N, I guess you could say could be easily summarized. Two days was for travelling to and from the place, and the 2N was partying 'til morning, or somewhat like that, and the 1D was spent at the beach and sleeping it off.

Though a lot of my friends drink, I absolutely try to avoid it at all costs. Because, my body can't take a lot of alcohol in one go, which happened during the trip (couldn't stop shaking, hard to breathe and etc.). I can take sips and that would mean that a bottle or a cup(?) of alcohol would last me an hour or more, to be safe. In summary, there are parts in alcohol that trigger my asthma and so... no alcohol for me.

But, let's divert the topic to the happy times...

let's go to the beach, yea?

According to my friends, this was the best beach we've ever been to. See, there were times where it was too rocky, too dirty or whatever. But, the beach has it's own flaws as well, not exactly the cleanest but passable, the sand is really fine but there are still some rocks out there (really little ones) and lastly the waves are strong but you gotta time it right!

The reason why there are lesser pictures of me was because I was already experiencing severe(?) sunburn so... gotta lay off the sun. Opting to wear a pair of shorts and a hoodie or shirt, I became the unofficial (but since I usually have the camera) photographer. I like being the photographer because I never leave my eyes from behind the camera, thus, the pics are either waited out or the lucky shots.

waited out...

lucky shot...

scene shot with Erika as my main focus.

Though you can only see here are the waves and the wonderful beach, we've also had some indoor fun in case the night comes around. We had stacks of cards, a pack of UNO, a pack of Monopoly Deal, a game of Twister, those with high tolerance of alcohol had Beer Pong, and a brand new twisted way to play Twister.

see me waaayyyy back playing some serious tetris!

because twister can be so much more fun...

Instructions?
Place a shot for each circle.
Spin the disc. (To get most to play we just said, "Spin mo lang!")
Pick a card. (It's facedown from 1-6)
Then take a shot. (Some shots are Ice Tea, some are chips and the others alcohol)

...Yes, you have to down the chips like a shot.

There were a hell of a lot more drinking games after that but I was too busy playing a brick game (the tetris had really weird tetriminos) to remember.

but, i do make an appearance once in a while.

traditional bucket of ice cream

I love these people more and more. I can't go to every outing not because I don't have the means to do so, but sometimes the time just isn't right with my schedule. I wish I could go to every single one of them but I can't... So, though I'm a bit more quiet than before, it just means that I'm trying to place everything in memory.

As sentimental as I can be, these people got me out of my shell. I used to hate wearing a pair of shorts, or dresses, or anything pretty. I used to like just staying at home and staring at the TV. But now, I wear a pair of shorts; I get to go to amazing places like this; I'm a lot more talkative; and I've got another family.

I dunno if these people actually read this blog of mine. But hey, just writing this post already made me smile.

meet the crew... well, most of us!
