Greetings world!

As you could see on the right side of my blog, there's a new gadget! (O.O) This picture will lead you to a blog that is dedicated to fixing up events, and such, usually they're for formal events BUT I will also try to create dances for those themed like streets, or whatever.

I'm actually currently wondering why I'm even starting to keep myself busy. Not only do I have to update this blog everyday but I've got that other one when my creativity strikes so it's a lot less... mmm... stressful. Then, I have school and a lot more things to do here at home.

I'm talking about that other site, which has not yet debuted a single idea since it is in the making. Seriously, two of them are open right now! (^o^) Because, today has been such an awfully boring day. I get easily bored you see, that's why people perceive me as "hardworking" or something like that, but the truth is I just keep myself busy. I will be continuing on with designing the first post for the other blog.

The layout and title is actually courtesy of my brother, since he told me that the message was wrong... and the layout was too boring, so... boom! there's the result.

I've been having this awful migraine the whole day. It just won't go away... I thought at first I was just hungry but no, my head just feels like it's going to explode. (@_@)

I don't like eating lunch in the school canteen unless I'm saving money but today was an exception. The food was actually passable, in fact, it was good! Parmesan fish, rice and vegetables. Yummy and very healthy. So thank you Mae,because of you we were too lazy to get out of uni.

~Photo of the Day: Healthy lunch~

I usually go on about a topic that just suddenly comes into mind but with this headache I can't even think straight. I've been editing this post for more than an hour and look where it's gotten me! Nowhere. (T_T) I feel so messed up right now... What to talk about...

Got one. This afternoon I got to see my friends again, well those who I was close to when we were still a block section. We're not that close with each other now, and I know it's probably my fault. I can't go with them anymore because they already have a different schedule than me. It's even harder to keep up with the conversation because their topics are usually something I'm unfamiliar about. I don't blame them, it IS my fault I didn't pass the basics...

It's times like these that I wish life didn't bring in change.

Feeling way too sick to continue,
AnaRay

is there such a thing as post-menstrual syndrome? because... damn.

NEW LAYOUT! sort of...

I am... bored and not in the mood to make a speech. That is why...

I am currently on The Personality Test Center because I feel like I've changed a lot since the last time (around four years ago) I took a personality test that's sort of official. If you want to check out yours, here's the site The Personality Test Center, of course, it all depends whether or not you believe in this stuff.

I answered all 300 questions honestly because I really do want a real answer. Here's a summary, believe me the real answer is so much longer and much more detailed. This is the original IPIP-NEO test results:

Your score on Extraversion is high, indicating you are sociable, outgoing, energetic, and lively. You prefer to be around people much of the time.

Your high level of Agreeableness indicates a strong interest in others' needs and well-being. You are pleasant, sympathetic, and cooperative.

Your score on Conscientiousness is high. This means you set clear goals and pursue them with determination. People regard you as reliable and hard-working.

Your score on Neuroticism is low, indicating that you are exceptionally calm, composed and unflappable. You do not react with intense emotions, even to situations that most people would describe as stressful.

Your score on Openness to Experience is average, indicating you enjoy tradition but are willing to try new things. Your thinking is neither simple nor complex. To others you appear to be a well-educated person but not an intellectual.

And the Type Theory Test results:

Your personality type is ENFJ

Long story short, I have not changed since the last four years. So, those who keep on writing on my letters to not change, apparently I have not. (^_^)

Will start on my speech,
AnaRay

~Photo of the Day: #1 Thing To Do When It's Raining~

When it's raining, there are a few things that I'd love to do namely,
      Sleep. Enough said.
Study, because it's colder when it's raining. (^_^)
Drink hot beverages, like hot cocoa and tea.
      Laze around.
Eat. Like lots and lots of food.

So, if I total how much sleep I've gotten today it'd probably be around twelve hours of sleep. Yeap, it's like I'm in freaking hibernation. No, I'm not tired... it's just that the weather is so sleepy and the pitter patter of the rain is so soothing. I don't know about you guys, but when it rains I fall asleep faster. Other sounds that help me fall asleep are the sounds of an electric fan, and the sounds of cars zooming outside (this one is from my childhood when I still lived in Pedro Gil).

Study. Yea, not the most interesting but did you know that studies show that there is a certain temperature that makes you more productive? So, that's around 21 degrees Celsius (or 70 degrees Fahrenheit), for those who live in colder areas like the States I know that that's pretty warm already but that's colder here. And, I've finished rewriting all my notes in basic accounting since my first year in college!
Note to all who plan to visit the Philippines: When we say it's cold, that means we've dropped to around 20 degrees Celsius so don't bring trench coats, that'll be useless!

Drink hot beverages. Must I say that just for this day, I've consumed around five cups of tea (three Earl Grey, and two English Breakfast) and a cup of hot cocoa earlier this morning.

Laze around. I know I said I was studying but temperatures continually dropped and I began to be lazy.

Eat. I do not want to share to you guys how much I've eaten. (ahahaha, (-___-")) BUT! My parents came home from Town, a mall, with a box of Mary Grace's Moist Chocolate Cake. Apparently, they went there to eat merienda while I was asleep. Anyway, Mary Grace's Moist Chocolate Cake is TO DIE FOR! It's not too sweet and it's not nakaka-umay (I don't know how to translate that... uhmm,  it's kinda like you don't easily get tired of eating it.)

I must tell you that that bakeshop knows what they're doing. If I had gone with them, we'd probably be eating there and I'd have a Salmon Carbonara and either the Moist Chocolate Cake or Red Velvet. Oh food...

I am a lazy bum,
AnaRay

do not tell my parents I posted this picture, this is my favorite family photo as of now...

We are currently experiencing typhoon problems.

Typhoon Pedring, to be exact.

I had to commute back home, before the storm got too wild. So thank God, I got a bus that actually passes in front of our village. I always don't have a seatmate when I commute, I really don't know why... so I kinda feel lonely, but at least I know there won't be a pickpocket beside me. On the other hand, the typhoon is in full swing right now, though it wasn't flooding La Salle like the last storm when we got stranded there 'til twelve midnight. (-___-)

Today, I am debuting a video! WOOHOO! *claps and cheers*

So, basically I am just drinking hot cocoa and beginning my homeworks. (^_^) Which, lucky me! One of my quizzes has been moved to next week. And now, I only have study for my law subject which is pretty easy 'cause my professor is easy to understand.

If you must know, classes today went by fast. My thesis for my speech was easily approved and I was really happy. So, by next week I will be presenting my speech. Long story short, free cut next meeting. Now, I just have to finish my workshop requirements.

P.S. CONGRATULATIONS to all students from preschool to highschool, you have no classes tomorrow!

Sunday

September 25, 2011

Almost MIA.

See, I usually write my blogs around eight-ish (after dinner or after mass), because it's usually the time when everything in my life cools down. Unless, I have this party to attend. Anyway, I did not go to a party but we ate out, in Alabang Town Center. Ate at Tempura, I had two pieces of California Maki, a big bowl of Gyuniki Ramen (Beef Ramen), two pieces of Ebi Tempura (Shrimp Tempura), two cups of tea for dinner. (^_^) Needless to say I was super hungry.

And for dessert, The Cooky Hat yogurt from The White Hat and some Black Dragon from Serenitea.

~Photo of the Day: Dessert Time!~

I think food makes a lot of happy hormones come back, right? Because, there's like a lot of emotional problems here at home, which I will NOT share on the Internet because they're not mine. It's their story to tell and I do not want to gossip. I'm a slight pacifist so I don't usually have stories to tell about me getting into a bitchfit with someone. I'm the person you come to to tell your problems and I'll try to help you, but be forewarned that I DO NOT TAKE SIDES. Unless, of course, the other person is totally wrong... *sigh*

Reason for almost MIA:

I do not like breaking a good streak, so even though it's like eleven at night and I haven't finished all my homeworks since I've been a bum all day. I just had to do it! So, I'm officially just beginning my homework, might pull an all-nighter. BTW, my class starts at one in the afternoon tomorrow. (^o^)

Procrastinating,

Saturday

September 24, 2011

I had my workshop today! We talked about how to land a job interview and all that... It was fun really, the speaker kept it interactive for all of us.

I learned a lot, like keeping nails clean, and minimal make up which brings us to the topic of...

Make up.

Do any of you happen to know make-up? I mean, totally know how to apply and whatever? Because, all I know is the powder, lip gloss and eyeliner. When it comes to cheek tint and blush, mascara, uhmm... the one for the eyebrows, I'm just lost. (^_^) ahahaha, so yea, not much about make up since I myself have no idea what to do with those.

Change in Topic: Nail Polish

Well, anyway... I know how to use nail polish very much. I do a couple of designs usually Korean/Japanese artist inspired, meaning it's a bit more eccentric like glitters on one finger each hand, or a different color for the middle finger. (^o^) Like I have in my profile, I love colors and so the evolution of my nails. I do get impatient waiting for the paint to dry so I usually put on a movie and I'm distracted for the time.

I could seriously do a lot of designs kinda like the nail art you see on TV or those that are printed on the nails but it takes so much time that I end up usually doing one or two fingers, to make it look "unique" truth be told, I just got lazy finishing it all!

 Is super tired,
AnaRay

need to create powerhouse resume...

Friday

September 23, 2011

I am currently doing my resume because I have a workshop tomorrow!

And, it's almost blank... because I seriously do not have a lot of activities nowadays since I'm still testing my powers of time management in college.

Actually, in my high school I had the guts to actually join the Student Council, in our case we called it the Student Executive Board. It was fun being there, I did a lot of things for school events, attended a bunch of seminars, was able to go to certain meetings that usually are reserved for school leaders.

My point is, while you're still in school be active! Never forget WHEN the RECRUITMENT WEEK is, because this year I totally forgot when it was. I have a really good reason though! I thought it was La Salle's Centennial Week but apparently that was like a week after during that time. So yea, epic fail I do not have an organization. (T_T)

I promise you all that NEXT academic term, I will take on organizations. Take note of the "S".

Well, if you guys want to add something like work experience which I was only able to put in because I "worked" for my mom's business. I don't even know if I should count that... (-___-")

Adding to that are research papers. Yea, the most hated part of every single student! But, apparently we still need to make tons of those so, sucks for us! But, they add to the resume.

So, today is definitely one of the most productive day ever because I have no time to finish this blog, since I've got a lot of things still to do. I'm leaving you with a picture of one of the most amazing something that I found online...

Thursday

September 22, 2011

I haven't posted a picture of me since I don't really like taking pictures of myself, so tendency is I put up pictures of what I see... So, topic for the day.

Let's talk... Japanese and Chinese-inspired Filipino food.

Because, we had lunch in a Japanese resto earlier. The whole california maki, katsudon and miso soup combo... ahhh, heaven. (^_^) So, big thanks to Jeth, Louie and Gab for eating with me!

I love sushi... and sashimi if it's from a really good restaurant. So we ate at this Japanese restaurant in front of La Salle, and they ARE good. I mean, don't compare them to the really famous ones in malls, because well they're good enough for students who are in a budget and who just want a quick taste of Japan.

They're california maki was weird though, there was this ingredient that really wasn't supposed to be there. Note: California maki usually consists of crab/crabstick, mango, avocado rolled with the nori inside and rice with fish roe (the orange thingies). But, the one we had earlier had I think it was tofu... so yea. weird... (o.O)
~Photo of the Day: How a California Maki should look like~

Katsudon, on the other hand, as everyone would probably know is actually just breaded pork or porkchop served with egg on top and some special sauce on the rice. Yum! And to think I paid PHP 135(around USD 3.11) for this porkchop, which could've been bought in another restaurant worth PHP 100(around USD 2.30), but it's all about the sauce... and it was worth it!

So why Chinese?

Well, that's what I just had this dinner. We had fried shanghai rolls and noodles. I say it that it's Chinese-inspired because I truly do believe that the Filipinos might have gotten it from them. See, most Chinese food snacks are inside a kind of wrapping... like siomai, spring rolls... dimsum. And, the noodles because well, they're the kind you find in Chinese restaurants. (^_^)

This is also in memory of Kevin's fail moment earlier in the day, which is what started this all.

Loves to eat with chopsticks,

September 21, 2011

Today, I was supposed to like a never-ending (rather really long) post about Glee, which is showing today, or some interesting Philippine News. Thanks to a friend, Louie! I've chosen to do Philippine News, don't worry it won't be that boring. They're actually kind of... out of this world. (^_^)

Here's the first one, the most popular one: The Sex Strike in Dado Village. As Mo Twister said, the women were harnessing the power of the vagine.

I'm a Magic 89.9 fan. It keeps me awake while I'm on my way to school (Good Times with Mo, Mojo, Grace Lee and Angelicopter), and they keep me up-to-date about news. Yesterday, my first class was cancelled and my friend left me her iPod to listen to Magic, (I know I'm so old school to listen to radios) but I was smiling to myself the whole time, I bet most of the people saw me as a lunatic or something. (^o^) Fun tip for everyone... Listen to the Good Times.

ANYWAY! I got off track, here's the Y! News link: Maguindanao 'sex strike' puts clan war to bed. I thought that it was both funny and effective, it ain't original but at least not much on violence, right? Unless, there's some in the bedroom... eww... not gonna think about that. (-__-)

The second, the most student-oriented one: An Act Prescribing a Universal Code of Student Conduct Whereby Planking by a Student or Group of Students During Street Rallies or Similar Protest Actions as a Form of Redress of Grievance be Strictly Prohibited and Applying Appropriate Sanctions Thereof. In short, the Anti-Planking Act of 2011.

We, students, have gotten a reaction from the government! Read through it, basically students can't plank during rallies or plank to show grievances... and The Act itself: Anti-Planking Act of 2011

So students... PLANK WISELY! (o.O)

Here's a Y! News link: Beware of planking, it might get you into legal trouble if you want a quick read on it.

The most traffic-related: To get our of Philippine traffic download the MMDA navigator app. Unfortunately, only my mom has an iPhone and she rarely drives when she knows there's gonna be traffic.

Y! News link: MMDA navigator app for iPhone now available

In line with the sex strike in Maguindanao, here's a little bit of news on how the Philippines, though not the best for real estate investment also from a recent news, the Philippines happens to be the best Asian country for women. I'm not sure about that, I mean we got equal rights down but not exactly on health in my opinion. Did they count like birth pills and such on these surveys? because I don't think we have that here...

Y! News link: PH is the best country in Asia for women, says survey

So, whatcha think about the Philippines? Weird? Interesting? Uhm, unexpected?

Oh does anybody have any update about the Spratlys?

Aaand, what did you think about the first episode of Glee Season Three? I watched it too. (^_^)

I JUST GOT HOME AT 8:30 PM. (-_-)Zzz...

The most viewed post on this blog was... the winter fashion. Apparently, a lot of people care about fashion. (^_^)

But, I can't talk about fashion all day... I mean, yea, I love fashion but not to the point that I talk about it everyday. Really, I'm spending my afternoon somewhere boring because I have to wait for my law class at 6pm. My last class for the day was supposed to be at 2:30pm so that means that I have exactly 3 hours and 30 minutes worth of break. What will I be doing with this time? I don't know. (T_T)

Then, let's see what else is the most talked about in the Web. According to this site Top 10 Most Talked About Topics on the Web, they are Health, Games, Auto and Moto, IT and Tech, Sports, Home and Recreation, Music, Cinema, Love and Family, and Women, in order.

~Photo of Top 10 Most Popular Topics on the Web
from Synthesio - International Web Monitoring and Research~
so, it's probably legit. (~_^)

Then, let's talk about health... Or what I know that's connected to it. All that would probably be coming out of my mouth are beauty tips (and usually they're not the buy this product blah blah blah), I guess?

P.S. I'm not citing sources, and that's usually bad but these things are just tips I got from people and personal experience, don't sue me please. (^_^)

TIP#1: Sleep. Yea, it's overrated but I'm not telling you to do the whole eight hours, some people could live with just four hours, and some people need like ten hours worth.

TIP#2: Drink water! Yea, best be hydrated than dehydrated but don't be overhydrated (is this even a word?) or waterlogged because you'll have a drop on sodium(?) or salt. Our body needs salt, and we could have too much if we don't drink water and have not much if we drink too much.

TIP#3: Using oatmeal as a face moisturizer or use an oatmeal soap. Yea yea, I had the same reaction of WTF?! but, my little brother came home one day from his field trip and he presented me with the soap saying, "Ate Ana, sabi ng nagbebenta nito maganda raw 'to sa face." In English, "Big sister Ana, the seller told me that this is good for the face." So, yeah... don't selling things to my brother he usually buys it. (^o^) But, it was really effective! I had smooth and soft face then... Now, I can't find such a soap. (T_T)

~Photo of the Day: beauty tips
(images from Google, edited in pixlr.com)~

TIP#4: Wear sunglasses when going out to a very sunny place. This reduces dark circles around your eyes, plus it prevents wrinkles. This is because, the skin around our eyes are very sensitive so do not put too much stress on them.

TIP#5: Use the warm then cold method. This is for when you're washing your face. You use warm water to wet your face, this is so that the pores would open. Then, you use whatever soap or facial you use. Lastly, rinse with cold water because this closes the pores. Long story short, no pimples. Because you open the pores first to release the oils then you close them afterwards so that dirt will not enter. (^_^)

TIP#6: Exercise. Anything from running, swimming, or my personal favorite of power walking.

I know other tips but I'm not quite sure if it works on everyone... like don't put face powder after exercising? But, that's kinda obvious 'cause then your pores would be open thus, the effect of pimples. So! wash your face first.

Beginning to get sleepy... (-_-)Zzz

What are the childish things you still do EVEN though you claim that you're "all grown up"? (^_^)

Me, I still...
have stuff toys, though in a minimum.
eat cake as if they won't make me fat.
     play Neopets.
sing in front of the electric fan to hear my robot voice.
go to arcades and give my all, no matter how embarrassing.
have a messy room, no matter how many times I clean it up.
watch cartoons, I still know who Sagwa is.
     color in coloring books. (^_^)
     write to Santa Claus.
have our Scooby Doo and Winnie the Pooh blankets.

Childhood, such an easy time for most people...

Growing up, I had to move fast or else be left behind but I have to move even faster to be one of the front liners. Especially, now that times are getting tough I guess I could say that reaching adulthood is the beginning of the challenge round. You know, how our childhood is the How-To Round, our adulthood is the Challenge Rounds, and lastly seniority is the Bonus Round (originally, I wanted to call it the Elimination Round but...). (^_^)

So, now that I'm all grown up. Challenge One would be to reach these specifications: learn how to cook anything, pass accounting class, pass qualifying exam, and pass all other subjects with flying colors.

~Photo of the Day: Blue Flower~

Am envious of the chefs in Top Chef and Masterchef US. I will learn how to cook soon!

Awesome day at school by the way. (^o^) Cool activities for both speech class and art class, which are to be continued next meeting. Long story short, I'll be wearing business attire yet again. And since I've watched Shamcey for more than three times, a little letter to you Shamcey.

Dear Shamcey Supsup,
Because of you, my mom now believes that I should read the text three times like you did so I could pass accounting. I don't know if I should be happy about that... so, uhmm... yeah, maybe I'll try that. (-___-"")

Needs to read law three times,

Greetings friends! and... unknown people!

Since I started this blog, around two weeks ago, I was kinda expecting that the people who'd be reading this were people who knew me. Obviously, majority of them are but it's cool to see this blog reached Germany, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Indonesia, Russia and the US. Did y'all know I want to travel? Well, I want to... if I had the money to spend for it, but I hate packing. Packing is such a... such a... drag.

I always have a checklist whenever I travel, you know the usual: this number of underwear, shirts, jeans, dresses, a pair of sneakers and a pair of slippers. Blah blah blah... What truly sucks about packing is choosing what to wear! I personally am envious of guys who could pull off things that they packed just because it was their favorite shirt (kudos to my little brother, he makes mistakes but usually he looks good).

I, on the other hand, have to plan ahead. Seriously, I do research on what the climate's going to be, is it hot or is it cold? Is it raining and all that stuff... but of course, I also have got to know what their fashion is in there.

Sure, people in cold places have a reason to wear them pretty boots, but here in the Philippines... boots are fifty-fifty. It's so hot, in fashion terms, that when you wear it, it looks awesome. But, it's literally so hot here that when you do wear it; it's just plain uncomfortable.

So, why am I blabbing about fashion? Because, I want those weird hat things (ear muffs) that people have in the States to keep them warm because if you have one here in the Phil, I have no idea where exactly you'll be able to wear it. But, it's so pretty!!!

Note to family, friends, friends-to-be, boss-to-be, co-workers-to-be and strangers...

I do not get cranky when you wake me up but don't talk to me about something important because more or less, I won't remember what you said. I am a morning person but I'm not THAT good. Actually, I don't feel well right now... watery eyes and pounding headache. (=_=)

Currently, I am watching the UAAP Cheerdance Competition 2011 on Studio23. I don't know who's going to win actually, I'm still waiting for the results since I'm not there for the live performances. But, I must say in my opinion, La Salle did a good job, jaw-dropping \(^o^)/ but then I witnessed University of the Philippines(UP) and Far Eastern University(FEU)... And my reaction was (O_O). But, let the judges declare the winners... University of Santo Tomas(UST) used church songs while National University(NU) awesome costumes! Super naaliw ako, hihi...

So in line with the current trending on Twitter and the main reason why I'm not resting...

Thursday

September 15, 2011

Hello, everyone before I start I'd like to say...

HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY TO MY GOOD FRIEND, ERIKA!
because your craziness makes every party
a hell of a lot more fun. (^_^)

On the other hand, I've been eighteen years old for a whole week now. And let me just say that, I've finally delivered my speech earlier today, and honestly, I was super nervous even though I had a week's worth of preparation my professor then called me too planned... as Homer Simpson would say, "D'oh!"

So today, I have found myself blog surfing or whatever it is called, you know clicking the Next Blog at the top part of the Blogger website. And, I've noticed a lot of family blogs, religious blogs, food and fashion blogs (me love), and ramblings of all sorts. But I've especially loved looking for blogs that fall under the photography category considering the only camera I've got is a old digital camera. (-___-")

I'm very envious (and I'm not afraid to admit) of people who have them fancy SLR, I don't take a lot of pictures of myself but I love taking picture of nature... you know, dogs, chickens, trees, flower and all them nature landscape. It feels so weird because when I go to school all I see is the city with the skyscrapers, trains, cars... pollution. I actually borrowed my friend's SLR and came up with these...

BTW, These are not part of the Project 365
Helping the Chicken Cross the Road

AND

Let Sleeping Dogs Lie

Cool, yea? I had to take these fast or else they might have left me.. (^_^)

Since I have no camera of my own, I've resorted to placing my creative outlet on drawing, designing my room, uhmm... this blog, if you could still count it. To show you all my creative outlet, here's today's picture...

~Photo of the Day: My desktop~

Don't ask me how I study there, it feels more like an art station for me. I study on the bed because... I feel more comfortable and the worksheets don't fit in my highly decorated desk. So, in line with that, I'd like to thank Hanna and Dana for their gift to me... a lap desk! THANK YOU! It's weird that even they know my study habits... (^o^)

Got home late and super bangag,
AnaRay

sleeping is a good source of dreams...

I'm an Accountancy student, and proud of it.

Well, if you could still be proud of your course when you've failed twice on the basics, then you've got to be either very very determined or stupid enough to continue. I've failed twice, so yeah... I'm either determined or delusional. (O.O)

I've begun reviewing the first of three basic accounting subjects for my qualifying exam happening at the end of the term and, when I say reviewing, I'm the kind who needs to see and do what I'm studying (a visual and kinesthetic learner). Long story short, I'm rewriting my notes. And there's a lot, I'm telling you. (-__-") BUT! I have to do this if I want to be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) here... then, I would have study again if I ever want to become a CPA in the US.

So, I'm going to finish the first of three, then I could focus on word problems.

~Photo of the Day: Cookie Monster Cupcake
from a website called Lost at E Minor~

Let's talk about cupcakes! Cupcakes are easy to make, simply mix all ingredients, then put them in the oven, make sure to take it out on time and TA-DAH! you have a cupcake... a rather plain cupcake. (^_^)

Decorating a cupcake is hard, the more designs the harder. My brother and I tried, and let me tell you... we failed. Playing with fondant to design a cake would be much easier. See, we had to make icing from confectionery sugar and being amateurs we couldn't perfect it, and settled for what we created.

So, my brother bought a lot of stuff to redo the cupcake experience. This includes a ton of flour, some pre-made Betty Crocker and the very plain yet useful cake flour. Some food coloring in red, blue and yellow so he could mix it to make different colors. A new spatula thingy, the one for mixing... I don't know what it's called. But since school started, he's too busy to venture on cupcake territory and is playing around with brownies instead. Hopefully, he makes a batch on Halloween or something. \(^o^)/

Let's all have a cupcake!

Good bye, Mutien Marie Hall!

All throughout the day, I felt sleepy. (-.-)Zzz... But, I couldn't sleep right after my accounting professor sent one out earlier. Today was our last day in that dusty, dirty, and damaged building and we didn't even stay that long. Mwahahahaha! Long story short, our class was dismissed early and then, I got to a bus, slept in the bus and finally went school supply shopping. I just noticed that in college there isn't that much stuff that you need, thank God and the books I could just borrow from the library or from my friends. Because I'm not that rich... (-__-)

But, I must show you.... THIS!
~Photo of the Day: My own bank card~

Ta-dah! I've never held a card that has money and my name on! I just took it out today since I wanted to use it but... I don't know how. So much for having one, but at least I could finally say I have a debit card. I smudged the numbers on top, I think I'm not supposed to show that... or is it okay to show that? Anyway, for security measures I just blurred it. (^o^)

Now, I have money in the bank. I can go shopping for sandals! and shirts, and pants and everything! But, what I'm really saving for is my own laptop so... what kind of laptop is good for a uni student? I can't afford something as expensive and amazing as an Apple laptop. Is the Sony Vaio okay? or the Acer Aspire? The kind that I want is the one I could easily bring to school, has a good enough memory and fast enough hard drive... uhm, if the graphics would be amazing that's be awesome too. (^_^)

And, now that I have all my school stuff. I can finally officially start my review for my qualifying exam at the end of the term. Wish me luck, I hope to get into the modulars program like my other blockmates who had left me behind with classes such as Art, Speech, and Bible Studies.

Starting to be a studious person... again,

Currently watching Toy Story 3.

I really do love this movie. Andy's going to college... Well, hope he's ready college is brutal. As they say, it's just a walk in the Jurassic Park. (^o^) Rex might've survived.

Let me tell you about today. I got to sleep at 3AM because I was preparing for my speech class, wherein we had to promote ourselves as some kind of product. Not easy... I love public speaking but I have no idea how to do this. My professor is very very frank when she gives out comments; I know it's supposed to get us to do better or it's our assessment but you'll really feel like your best wasn't good enough. *sigh*

So, in Filipino terms I am... bangag when translated to English means slow-minded.

The picture of the day, today is... actually me, so I'm debuting myself here on Blogger. I just got home from uni and this is normally what I look like while studying, ponytail on the side an not the most beautiful person in the world but... it works for comfort. (^_^)

~Photo of the Day: Me in my comfy clothes~

Not much about today since I kept on sleeping due to the fact that I slept up late for NOTHING! And tomorrow will be a fast-paced day. On tomorrow's agenda: School supply shopping. I don't even have a pen!

Still going to catch some sleep,
AnaRay

'cause I'm sleeping on the mattress... (to the tune of I'm Leaving on a Jet Plane)

Stressed. Stressed. 1:53AM

I know that I shouldn't be stressed but something happened last night that I had to fix quickly. So this picture is dedicated for those two people that I am currently loving more than my cake. (^x^) That's supposed to be a kiss, right?

~Photo of the Day: Status update from Facebook~
I've had a lot of last minute back outs from my friends regarding the emcee thing and the 18s stuff like candles, treasures and roses (though not so much on the last one). I love you all, and I'm really sad that some of you couldn't come because I really really worked hard on this so but the show must go on. My blog though it's been more than a week old, my profile won't give much information so I'm going to debut myself here as well. (^_^)

My nickname is AnaRay, a combination of my first name as well as my last name. I am currently a sophomore in De La Salle University - Taft still an Accountancy student, thank God. I am now eighteen years old, I had that countdown and everything on this blog. I seriously love cake, so if I love you more than cake then you are special! Congratulations! (^o^)

I'm actually trying to finish this up early today because sadly, I won't be able to later on tonight. So details about my debut later will probably come out tomorrow. And, I still haven't made my speech for my speech class... Hopefully, I'd get my hands on the digital camera so I could send a message for those who read my blog.

Hoping this day ends much better than it started,
AnaRay

today's the day..

Bonjour! Olah! Konnichiwa! (^_^)

I watched You Again twice today. And, that got stuck in my mind... I've been busy the whole day, my parents dragging me here and there but I need to post a picture today right? Soooo, here's the picture since my only friend for the past hours was my laptop.

~Photo of the Day: The Sims Social frontpage~
Welcome to the Sims Social! Yea, I've been playing it since I started to make an avatar. Which was this morning... and I've done a lot of accomplishments. (^o^) I'll admit that I easily get addicted to these things, I had (still have) that account on Neopets, recently just deleted those in Restaurant City, Pet Society, Cafe World and Tetris Battle. Believe me when I say, I love playing RPG computer and video games... which is sometimes my obsession. (>.<)

I have my own PS2, given to me by my little brother and I've finished games like Spyro, Shadow Hearts, Kingdom Hearts all in a span of a week (if there are no classes) and when you read the actual time that I've played it, it will show 24 hours worth of game time. As for computer games, the one from Real Arcade, Game House and such, it'll take me about two hours to finish. Yea, I love playing video games except for the shooting kind like COD... because I can describe how I play it in two words: I suck. (_ _")

I'll stop my blog from here or else I'll be talking a lot about games.

Shutting myself up,
AnaRay

tomorrow's gonna be a big bag of stress...

Good evening! It's 8:50PM in the Philippines and I'm actually waiting for the showing of the series, Medium on FOX.

So while waiting, let me show you today's picture! (^_^)

~Photo of the Day: our building for Human Behaviors class~

Today is the last day of classes for the week, and that picture up there is where we held our last class. Honestly, I didn't even know that that building was still used so when I checked it out earlier before class started I thought I had gotten the wrong room but... we were right. Oh, who are we? SHOUTOUT to: Rox, Iyne, Sof and Zig (again...) My friends who shared this experience with me.

Now, why is it weird to have a class here? First, it's no longer used that much other than being a storage room for the uni. Second, this building is where the haunted house is set up during special occasions in our uni. And, when you enter the classroom, it's still dusty and smells like... a dirty garage. Thank God that our professor is someone who we've worked with before and he agreed to have a change in classroom, if we are permitted to do so. I HOPE SO! (*.*)

Also, a SHOUTOUT to: Alenn and Mel. Na-surprise ako (sarcasm applied). They actually bought me a really big cake. And though the surprise was a bit fail in the part of it being a surprise, I'm really happy you guys still made the effort for me. (T_T) <tears of joy! And, it isn't really easy commuting in the pouring rain, without an umbrella while carrying around a box of cake. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Today was unexpected,
AnaRay

it's raining but that just means it's my birthday week

It's 2:41am... I'm still suffering from insomnia. (=_=)

---------Page Break---------

It's officially my birthday, and my little brother's birthday and Mama Mary's birthday! (>^o^)<l .~:':~.~

I've reached "adulthood" while my brother has started his teenage years, very lucky of us to have our birthday to meet on the same day, yea?

Also, it's officially the end of my term break. So congratulations to all LaSallians, welcome back to uni. Current time here in uni is 9:58am, early break from my first class. I thought I wouldn't see familiar faces in this class but apparently Zig can read minds because... we're classmates... again. (-_-") Let's go for another term! I've nothing to report now except for the lack of company I have right now. I'm all alone... on my birthday. (T_T) Kyaaa!

Carrying on, let's discuss the 365 project which is to start today!
365 Project Rules and Regulations:

1. Have a recording device. (i.e. camera, video camera, voice recorder)
2. The picture, video or recording should have happened on the day itself.
3. Use of PrintScreen is allowed.
4. Must not skip a day.
5. Can only post one picture!

So, I left my camera... stupid enough for me, but thank God for my cellphone. So the picture to be taken today may be from my Nokia E63... will add more for today later.

---------Page Break---------

Oh English, why do you haunt me so? (>.<) See, my English professor back in my uni frosh days thought me how to write essays and stuff like that, I learned a lot from her seriously but a lot of hardwork was poured into getting that almighty 4.0. Here! is a sample... Anyway, I get to see her again this term. I was shocked when she opened the door and she still remembered me, my eyes totally went like this... (O.O) So yeah, another term, yea?!

---------Page Break---------

Ding dong... I'm hoooome!
~~Photo of the Day: Pandesal from Kwen in Dian St.~~
I just got in at around 6:40pm since my classes ended at around 4pm and it's not exactly that far of a ride. It's just that we had a lot of stopovers like buying pandesal, eating said pandesal, (caution: I love pandesals) buying cake for me and my brother, stopping over at the mall... well I was asleep when we stopped over at the mall. I was so tired due to lack of sleep, but now... I'm home and I'm at peace. (^_^)

And, we're gonna eat food! Lots and lots and lots of food!

Bye bye for now,
AnaRay

finally eighteen!

Tomorrow... Tomorrow...

你好 or Ni hao!

Today... most of the stuff we need is finished. YAY! \(^_^)/ much of the stress is now over. Even though today was the official first day of classes in La Salle, my first day of classes will start tomorrow with Personal Effectiveness Part2 as my first subject... I wish my classmates won't be boring seeing I don't know anyone else who will be taking that class at that time. (T_T)

Although I am excited for tomorrow, I still have not prepared for it. I wish I could see my blockmates... I haven't seen much of them for awhile. I MISS YOU BLOCK ONE!!! I miss being a frosh, when everything was easy. As the next term comes, my previous professor reappears..

~legendary professor looks like Mario... i hope sir doesn't get mad.~

This is one of the best professors when it comes to accounting... even though his quizzes are like super hard, they are really worth it if you're taking Accountancy as your degree! and the quizzes never fail to give me this look... (O.O") I passed my first course with him and failed the second, so I'm hoping I'll pass on my second take of the one that I failed. PLEASE LET ME PASS SIR! I WILL DO MY BEST... AGAIN! (^o^)

I wish my insomnia would go away tonight, I seriously need my sleep. I don't want to look like a zombie tomorrow and have baggy eyes, =_=

Just waiting for this day to end,
AnaRay

tomorrow... tomorrow.. i love you!

Tuesdays... Tuesdays!
Tuesdays... Tuesdays!

Today's the last day to enroll and Debo's Yellowcab
I really want some pizza from Debo's Yellowcab!

Debo.. Debo..
Pizza.. Pizza..

Yea!
~in the tune of Dora the Explorer's Backpack Song~
(^o^)

Yea, today's the last day to enroll without surcharge and today was supposed to be pizza and movie marathon from Debo... but I had to go to the doctor or else I would get worse and then I won't be able to celebrate my birthday. So, I had to sacrifice pizza and movies for... fried fish and noodles at home. (T_T)... Thank You God for making it rain, now it sets the mood for the loss of Debo's Yellowcab pizza..

~here's a picture of the hospital's lobby that I went to~

Anyone from the South of Metro Manila would know which hospital this is... I went there and shopped for a bag of medicine, seriously they gave me a prescription for eight things.

~from today's episode of Timmy Turner~

I'm now back at home watching Timmy Turner while my friends are all watching movies in Louie's condo.

September 5, 2011

Hello! (^_^)

I accomplished many things today, first off I had adjusted my schedule for next term, a real hassle since only one section had opened for the subject course that I needed. (T_T) Second, I finally no longer have to worry about my wardrobe in my upcoming debut, oh I'm so excited! Plus, more practice for the day itself. Then, tonight I will again stare at my face on the pictures, of course... Wait, on the pictures? in the pictures? or, at the pictures? I totally suck at BASIC GRAMMAR! The one thing that hindered me from getting my dream course in the Unibersidad ng Pilipinas in Diliman (or UPD).

See here, today is such a busy day... as it always will be since it is Monday. My mind's been around the place for the past couple of days because 1) I'm so excited for the next term, 2) I'm excited for my birthday (as vain or normal as that could be)... and 3) I'm nervous for my party. I really do hope everything would turn up right... I even wished upon a Solitaire game. *sigh*

I never mentioned why I even have blogger again! I'm going to start a 365-day project that I learned from a friend... JASON! this will be like a documentation of my 18-year old life. Actually, it will be a documentation... pictures, videos and sometimes voice records? (o.O)

3 days left!

i feel accomplished...

안녕하세요!

Just a quick post!

Today's the day for my friend's birthday, she's turning eighteen too, so... happy birthday Haze! See you in awhile... \(^^)/

~from what I remember Haze loves the color green too~

I just bought a dress from Kamiseta just for the event so I'm rushing because it will be in an hour or so. And... I haven't begun on anything other than possibly choosing accessories (and everyone knows I suck at accessories). Oh my god...

I'm telling you now, I'm gonna be late... Oh, I'm so sorry! m(_ _)m

4 more days to go for me,
AnaRay

panic mode! (@_@)

Today's weather report from AnaRay: Very windy. WHOOSH!

Oh my god.

I had practice today for my debut and it was so so tiring. In one day hour, we had completed a routine and it's very hard because it includes a lot of walking and running, and GYAAHH! So much for today being a bum day...

~~10 second preview d(^_^)b~~
inspired by Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough's Foxtrot in DWTS
~forgive me the video's very blurry, it's just from my brother's cellphone~

So today, I have to finish up on the AVPs... *sigh* so many things to do, so little time to prepare. Tonight I'll be staying up late again, it's like I don't have a break, yea? But, I am so excited for tomorrow because there's another party I will be attending. \(^_^)/

Turning eighteen in the Philippines is such a big thing and I just want it to be memorable and so fun. I wish that my guests will have fun because I put so much effort for them. Oh, I'm coming back to my ways of letting others come first even though it should be me. On that day, I should be chanting: this is my day... this is my day... but I'll probably be doing more of the: are they having fun?... is the food good?... i hope they're happy... (-_-;)

Everybody's playing The Sims Social in Facebook! Ahh, maybe I should give it a try, yea? or nah? Oh, I'm babbling because my only companion right now are our cats, parrots and dog... I would like to thank God that our parrot talks, or else I would be talking to myself.

5 more days, just 5 more days,
AnaRay

don't take me to rehab yet!

I'm back so fast! Why? Because, I'm finally wide awake! (O_O)

My mom took me back to Bellevue for preparation of my birthday and the lady who accommodated us treated us to buffet lunch in Cafe de Asie. Oh so yummy! my tummy was so full I had to have tea or else, it won't go down. And because of that, I have a big tummy! (>///<)

Everything was so Filipino but never fear, they still had my favorite sushi bar! And, of course the never ending piles of bread and butter... Ooooh, I wish I had taken home some of the food but I was so scared that they might tell me I'm stealing. There were so many apples...

Still six more days,
AnaRay

hungry again...

~~wake up song: Don't Stop the Music by 2NE1~~

*yawn*

Hello! I woke up with such a bad start... My eyes feel droppy, my back feels so tired and my mind is so slow. Even though last night I was brought with such bad news, today I was greeted with good news. Why? A good friend of mine passed the Accountancy Qualifying Exam, Go Gab! \(^o^)/!!

I actually woke up very late and that's not so good... It's now 11:11 AM. I always wake up at 8AM, oh no! my body clock is going mental! Oh so sleepy.. (-.-)Zzz..

Oh that is 2NE1, a Korean girl group that specializes in electronic hip hop and R&B kind of music. I may not be Korean but I love the beat.. ♫♪♫♪♫ This song is very old, and it actually doubles as a commercial for the Yamaha "Fiore". Oh yes, I've been very open to music... and so, was affected by the Korean Wave or Hallyu.

6 more days to go,

Hello hello!

This is AnaRay and I'll be turning eighteen years old in one week! Yay!

Other than today being the first day of my last week of being seventeen, today my grades came out and I'm so sad that I failed yet another subject. So much for leaving my seventeen year old self a good memory, sigh it's so so so depressing... (_ _")

Pushing that away, I was also able to give out invites to my debut! Wooh, and it was so very tiring and made me so dizzy driving around the metro... (@.@)

7 days to go 'til 18 years old,
AnaRay

gotta stay optimistic... (^_^)
