May 25-27, 2012: LK Summer Trip

It took us around six hours to finally get to our destination that is... All Seasons Resort in Morong, Bataan. Six hours because of waiting for each other, stopovers and some detours. And that meant, Carl had to drive at night.

The 3D2N, I guess you could say could be easily summarized. Two days was for travelling to and from the place, and the 2N was partying 'til morning, or somewhat like that, and the 1D was spent at the beach and sleeping it off.

Though a lot of my friends drink, I absolutely try to avoid it at all costs. Because, my body can't take a lot of alcohol in one go, which happened during the trip (couldn't stop shaking, hard to breathe and etc.). I can take sips and that would mean that a bottle or a cup(?) of alcohol would last me an hour or more, to be safe. In summary, there are parts in alcohol that trigger my asthma and so... no alcohol for me.

But, let's divert the topic to the happy times...

let's go to the beach, yea?

According to my friends, this was the best beach we've ever been to. See, there were times where it was too rocky, too dirty or whatever. But, the beach has it's own flaws as well, not exactly the cleanest but passable, the sand is really fine but there are still some rocks out there (really little ones) and lastly the waves are strong but you gotta time it right!

The reason why there are lesser pictures of me was because I was already experiencing severe(?) sunburn so... gotta lay off the sun. Opting to wear a pair of shorts and a hoodie or shirt, I became the unofficial (but since I usually have the camera) photographer. I like being the photographer because I never leave my eyes from behind the camera, thus, the pics are either waited out or the lucky shots.

waited out...

lucky shot...

scene shot with Erika as my main focus.

Though you can only see here are the waves and the wonderful beach, we've also had some indoor fun in case the night comes around. We had stacks of cards, a pack of UNO, a pack of Monopoly Deal, a game of Twister, those with high tolerance of alcohol had Beer Pong, and a brand new twisted way to play Twister.

see me waaayyyy back playing some serious tetris!

because twister can be so much more fun...

Instructions?
Place a shot for each circle.
Spin the disc. (To get most to play we just said, "Spin mo lang!")
Pick a card. (It's facedown from 1-6)
Then take a shot. (Some shots are Ice Tea, some are chips and the others alcohol)

...Yes, you have to down the chips like a shot.

There were a hell of a lot more drinking games after that but I was too busy playing a brick game (the tetris had really weird tetriminos) to remember.

but, i do make an appearance once in a while.

traditional bucket of ice cream

I love these people more and more. I can't go to every outing not because I don't have the means to do so, but sometimes the time just isn't right with my schedule. I wish I could go to every single one of them but I can't... So, though I'm a bit more quiet than before, it just means that I'm trying to place everything in memory.

As sentimental as I can be, these people got me out of my shell. I used to hate wearing a pair of shorts, or dresses, or anything pretty. I used to like just staying at home and staring at the TV. But now, I wear a pair of shorts; I get to go to amazing places like this; I'm a lot more talkative; and I've got another family.

I dunno if these people actually read this blog of mine. But hey, just writing this post already made me smile.

meet the crew... well, most of us!

"lovelots," is how i signed most if not all of their retreat letters...
